Generally, in food-grade processing workshops, under dust-free and sterile conditions, each time the cans are heated, the heating containers are preheated to sterilize before the cans are heated, usually at 121°C/250°F. For instance, canned luncheon meat is made by canning raw minced meat. After high-temperature sterilization, the minced meat inside is also cooked. Under the premise of sterilization, the canning process is also completed

The shelf life of cans is usually measured in years.
